Do you have to pay a cancellation fee if you sell your home?

If you’re moving within the same utility delivery area, most electricity providers allow you to transfer your electricity contract to the new address without penalty. In Connecticut, however, cancellation fees for residential electric supply contracts cannot exceed $50. Please refer to the plan’s terms and conditions for specific details.
